Itinerary
Day1 Arriving Shanghai
Our guide will meet you at Pudong international airport, then transfer to the hotel. The rest day is your free time.
Day02 Shanghai-Huangshan (Breakfast)
After breakfast, our guide will transfer you to Shanghai railway station; you will take a high-speed train from Shanghai -Huangshan.
When you arrive at Huangshan our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at the railway station and then transfer you to visit Tunxi Old Street. Tunxi Old Street lies in the center of Tunxi District, which was once a small fishing village. Paved with maroon flagstones, a street is now a gathering place of traditional Chinese buildings and shops selling local products and souvenirs.
Day 03 – Huangshan (Breakfast)
In the morning, our private driver will take you to the foot of Mt. Huangshan. Once arriving, you will take the cable car up to the mountain, enjoying the magnificent scenery as the cable car is slowly going up. Get out of the cable; you will proceed to appreciate the view of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Peak, the Lion Peak, the Flying Stone, and the Bright Summit. The Beginning-to-Believe Peak is one of the 36 small peaks of Huangshan Mountain which boasts strange pines and absurd stones. The Peach Blossom Peak is one of the 36 big peaks of the Mountain. The soil on the peak is very fertile, which makes it covered by thriving vegetation, especially the peach trees. When the peach trees blossom every March to April, the peak will be a sea of peach flowers.
The Lion Peak is named so because it resembles a crouched lion. It is an ideal place to view the North Sea’s scenery of the Mountain, including the Beginning-to-Believe Peak and the Bright Summit. The lion’s head is the Red Cloud Peak (Danxia Peak) at the west, and its tail is Shuguang Pavilion at east. The Flying Stone is a 39-feet-high, 8-meter-long and about 360-ton piece of rock balanced on a tiny flat ledge, just like flying over from the heaven, hence its name. The Bright Summit is one of the highest summits as well as the best site to appreciate the cloud sea of the Mountain. Ascending the summit, you could view the scenery of the East Sea Scenic Area as well as the West Sea Scenic Area. You will stay at the hotel on the mountain tonight.
Day 04 – Huangshan to Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
The visit on the mountain will be extended to the Cloud-dispersing Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon today. The Cloud-dispersing Pavilion is called so because the cloud will disperse upon reaching here. It is a good place to admire the absurd stones, cloud sea, strange peaks, and deep valley. Xihai Grand Canyon, also known as the ‘Illusory Scenic Area,’ is famous for its beautiful and deep natural scenery. After lunch, the cable car will take you back to Tunxi our guide will transfer you to Railway Station
When you arrive at Shanghai, our guide will meet you at the train station, then take you to Shanghai Hotel for rest.
Day 05 Shanghai-Lhasa (Breakfast)
After breakfast, your tour guide will transfer you to Shanghai airport.
Arrive in Lhasa (3650m). Upon arrival at Lhasa airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Get full rest for acclimatization. 70km 1hr ON Lhasa
Day 06 Sightseeing in Lhasa (Breakfast)
After breakfast, visit the great museum and World Heritage Site, the “Potala Palace”; a winter palace of the Dalai Lama since origination in the 7th century, the site was built over the renowned “Jokhang Temple,” erected by the late king Songtsen Gampo. The “Jokhang Temple,” is one of the oldest temples in Tibet history, is considered the most sacred site in Tibetan Buddhism. It, along with the “Potala Palace,” has since been rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai Lama in the late 17th century. Walk through the streets of Barkhor (built in 1416 by Tsongapa’s disciple—Jamyang-Choje, is the middle square of Jokhang Temple), and experience the saintly sensation this sacred and historical place provides you; Experience the sacred site and get a great photo opportunity from both at-far and up-close to capture this magnificence of a site.
Day 07 Lhasa-Yamdrok-Gyantse (Breakfast)
Today we will continue our journey to Gyangtse via Gampa La pass(4980m) which offers spectacular views of the Nojin Kangsang snow ranges and the turquoise lake (4400m) Yamdrok, Karola Glacier. P.m. Visit Pelkhor monastery for its famous Kumbum Pagoda. Besides Pelkhor. Gyantse Dzong(Fort),it is one of the best-preserved Dzongs in Tibet, perched high above the town of Gyantse on a huge spur of grey-brown rock. 270m 5-6hrs ON Gyangtse
Day 08 Gyangtse-Shigatse (Breakfast)
Today we will continue our journey to Shigatse. On the way, have a family visit for a glimpse of everyday Tibetan life. P.M. Visit the great Tashilunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama, was founded in 1447 by first Dalai Lama. Then, have a look at the Local Market 90 km 2hrs ON Shigatse
Day 09 Shigatse-Lhasa (Breakfast)
Today we will drive back to Lhasa along the Brahmaputra river via Jangtang valley, Rinbung valley, Nyimu valley as well as Brahmaputra gorge.
In the afternoon, Visit Drepung Monastery, the Drepung monastery was built in 1416, which belongs to be the biggest monastery among the six monasteries of the Gelukpa sect.

Day 10: Transfer to Lhasa Airport (Breakfast)
Today you will have free time until your tour guide escorts you to the Lhasa train station or airport for your departing train or flight from Lhasa.
