Masai Mara National Reserve (also known as Maasai Mara, Masai Mara and by the local people as The Mara) is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Mara Region, Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Masai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: “Mara,” which is Maa (Masai language) for “spotted,” an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is only a fraction of the Greater Mara Ecosystem, which includes the following Group Ranches: Koiyaki, Lemek, Ol Chorro Oirowua, Olkinyei, Siana, Maji Moto, Naikara, Ol Derkesi, Kerinkani, Oloirien, and Kimintet.

Mombasa Island is the core of Mombasa and the largest port in East Africa. The historic gateway to the region – it’s docked are still the main landing point for cargo destined for Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and further afield.
Mombasa Island is a bustling, busy town – although it has kept its character, especially in the old town. There is a distinctly Arabic feel to the island – although there are also strong Indian, and Swahili influences, as well as regular reminders of the Portuguese in the older parts of the city.

It would be very pleasing to stay all day.
