For instance, Neon-lit streets, quaint alleys, world-famous pandas, temples, cultural streets and countless restaurants, as you have never seen before. Since there are many things to do, how do you decide to spend time in a city like Chengdu?
Day 1
Have fun: Research Base of Giant Panda
Chengdu Panda Research Base in Chengdu is both a research institute for giant panda breeding and an ecological park that simulates the wild habitat of giant pandas. Here not only you can see the newborn panda baby, but you can also get close to many endangered animals. It takes about three hours to walk though, of course, you can still choose to take a sightseeing bus. What’s more, the park is densely planted with fresh air and stepping into it, as if walking into an emerald world.


Have fun: Kuanzhai Alleys
The predecessor of Kuanzhai Alleys were ordinary Hutongs back in Kangxi period. After Kangxi’s fifty-seven years of peace, the city was built in Chengdu. Kuanzhai Alley means Wide and Narrow Alley. The wide alley is called the Xingren Hutong at the time. On the other hand, the narrow alley is called Taiping Hutong, and the Jingxiangzi is Ruyi Hutong.




Day 2
Have fun: Jinli Ancient Street
Jinli was once one of the oldest and most commercial streets in the history of Xiqiao. It was famous all over the country during the Qin and Han Dynasties. Even today, Jinli still retains a large number of Chinese classical elements, from the goods to the human atmosphere, the style of Han and Tang is everywhere.





Have fun: Luodai Ancient Town
According to legend, the ancient town of Luodai was named after the fall of the belt of Liu Bu, the son of Liu Bei. However the Hakka people are the ones who designed and developed it after all. Both the immigration movement in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and the history of “Huguang filling Sichuan” made these Hakkas from different places rooted in Luolu, Sichuan. Despite there are so many Hakka people living all over south part of China, Luodai Town has formed a unique Hakka custom and Hakka culture after hundreds of years of prosperity.
