Description

Day 1: When you arrive in Guilin, take a taxi to your hotel. Check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day for self-exploring or relaxation. Day 2: After breakfast, visit the famous “Elephant Trunk Hill”; It is one of the must-see landmarks and attractions of Guilin. The name was originated due to the natural shape of the hill reflecting of a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk. Afterward, enjoy the afternoon around the “Rong & Shan Lake”. This spectacular area is surrounded by Banyan and Cedar trees, planted along the bank of the lakes. After the sun fall, the night view provided by a great display of lights and reflections from the lake offers a truly breathtaking view. The experience you receive at night will be vastly different than the calming and peaceful view under daylight. The main attraction of the lake is the Twin Towers which are geographically located at the center of the lake. Some side attractions you can also find in this large park includes the Glass Bridge, Mid-lake Pavilion and the Zigzag Bridges. Walking along the banks of the lake and exploring the markets around it will truly be an experience to remember. Day 3: After breakfast, you will be transferred to Xingping, the home to the beautiful and magnificent landmark that Guilin is known for. After arrival, you will begin your exploration of this worldly landmark by taking a cruise on the “Li River.” Experience most beautiful and scenic section of “Li River,” many landmarks including “Mural Hill,” “Snail Hill” and “Lotus Crag” can be seen on the route of Cruise. You can also see the “Huangbu Daoying” area, which in rough literal translation, is the “Yellow-Cloth of Mirror-Reflection.” Most notably, this area is renowned for its depiction as the background for the 20 Yuan banknote of China. Here, you can shoot the scenery of 20 Yuan note. En-route also visit the famous fishing village (Former U.S. president Bill Clinton visited this village in 1998). After Cruise, walk through the streets of “Xingping Ancient Town”; a well-preserved 1300-years old town. Later, you will be transported to Yangshuo where you will visit the “West Street.” Since the 1980s, it has become a window of eastern and western culture. It houses the biggest ‘foreign language center’ in China. After that, you will return to Guilin and enjoy the rest of the night at your own pace. Day 4: After breakfast, your land tour will end at your hotel. Begin traveling home or extend your journey to other cities in China.
